Summertime brings lots of fun things to mind and at The Country Loft one of those things is Summer Camp!
This year camp runs the week of July 18th and is six full days and nights of quick and easy classes, prizes, and fun with friends.
There are a few classes that still have a little room so we thought we would show you where we have openings and you might decide you want to join in the fun!
"Independence", a quilt designed and taught by Colleen Loucas is on Monday the 18th from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
The Hooked Heart Garland class on Tuesday evening, the 19th, is a great class for beginners who have always wanted to learn the craft of rug hooking.
This class, designed and taught by Donna Whitmore, is a fun project for the experienced hooker too!
The ever popular T-Shirt Quilt (on the hanger) taught by Donna King is the perfect quilt to make as a special gift for a graduate, sports enthusiast, traveler, or any collector of T-Shirts. This is a quilt you can make many times for lots of people and occasions. It is being offered on Thursday the 21st from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
And from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on the 21st is the cute Tin Can Make-Do sitting on the shelf.
Deby Wickham is teaching this quick and easy project that would be the perfect gift for your quilting friends!
On Friday, the 22nd, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. is this fun class with Tina Rainer, Camp Kitchen Stuff. Rows of half square triangles decorate these easy potholder and plastic bag dispenser patterns.
Also from 5:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. we have our Happy Hour quilt which is the great pinwheel design (on the hanger) taught by Catherine Hughes.
Please come in to the store to register for any of these classes. We are also putting people on waiting lists for classes that are full. You never know when there might be a cancellation.
